  • Emergency call system: Install an emergency call system in the bathroom,especially if someone lives alone.

  • Grab bars: Install grab bars in strategic locations throughout the bathroom, such as near the bathtub, shower, toilet, and sink.

  • Non-slip mats: Use non-slip mats in the bathtub or shower and on the floor near the sink and toilet.

  • Clear the clutter: Keep the floor and surfaces clear of clutter to prevent tripping hazards.
